Nancy's mother writes that Bobby received his ring and that she is happy that Nancy found her own ring. She mentions several people including the homecoming queen from Grace King High School. Nancy's mother mentions her reserve in wanting to see "Jimmy Dean" at the Blue Room since she would prefer to stay home and rest.
