Nancy's mother writes about what is happening at home while Nancy is away at school. She mentions football games, what others in her family are doing, and the events at Grace King High School where she works. She has sketched the Grace King school ring. She encloses three dollars (not included) for Nancy for meals in addition to two newspaper "items" (not included) she thinks Nancy may find interesting. She asks if Nancy may be able to come home over the weekend and closes by saying that everyone sends their love.
