One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff dated November 7, 1944. He mentions the election and hearing news of who is winning each state on the radio. He mentions his surprise that Raymond was handing out buttons and going to rally dinners. He reports that their last letter arrived and the stamp was not canceled. He also received letters from Edna, Ed Zell, and Mary the girl from Chicago. Mary is currently in Brooklyn with her aunt and uncle and wants him to visit when he gets home. Ed mentioned that Helen Peters is getting married in Texas. Edna sent him a dollar for Christmas and mentioned Mildred Hettriger getting married. He recently went to town but cannot find a laundry, so he will have to do it himself. Inquires how everyone is feeling. In a post script he notes that Roosevelt was declared the winner of the election.
