This is a lithographic poster featuring Howard Chandler Christy's iconic depiction of the female, would-be sailor. The poster is of a girl and states "GEE I WISH I WERE A MAN I'd JOIN THE NAVY, NAVAL RESERVE OR COAST GUARD." The poster was used as a recruiting propaganda to get people to join the Armed Forces during World War I.
