One typed letter addressed to Jackie Robinson dated October 7, 1957 from Dwight D. Eisenhower. Thanks Robinson for a letter pertaining to Little Rock Nine. Written on presidential stationery.

The Little Rock Nine were the first nine black students to enroll into an all-white school. This took place on September 1957 after the passage of "Brown v. Board of Education" ruling of 1954. The students were prevented from entering by the Governor of Arkansas who sent a military blockade. President Eisenhower intervened to allow the students entry to the school. Despite this the students were still met with prejudice by the white students for the first year.
