Two poll tax receipts from Travis County, Texas dated December 11, 1934. The receipts are for the payment of a one dollar seventy five cent poll tax paid by Mr and Mrs. Max Bickler. They are signed by A.W. Grubble, Deputy and Karl H. Schmidt Tax collector. The receipt also lists the payee's age, occupation and skin complexion. On the rear of the receipt the dates the payee voted are stamped.
