Concerns the cession of Chippewa land in Minnesota, their removal, and the remuneration they will receive. Authorized by President Franklin Pierce. Treaty arranged by George W. Manypenny, Commissioner on the part of the United States, and the Chippewa leaders on 22 February 1855 (and ratified on 7 April 1855).
