Saltonstall, commander of a regiment during the French War, provides Shepherd the names of the officers who have been appointed to serve with him. He is ordered to make weekly returns to Major Salah Barnard of the number of men that he and his officers enlist. Details the form of the company's uniforms, and tells him the name and location of the tailor who will prepare these. Further orders will come from Major Barnard.
