One letter from Leonard E. Graeff to his parents Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff, dated October 1, 1943. Leonard thanks his parents for the two care packages that arrived. He appreciates the candy as he eats so much of it now. He also really liked the bracelet they sent, he says he likes it the most out of all the ones the other guys are wearing. He asks his dad to write and tells his him to get anti-freeze for the car. He is in the middle of a service week when the company doesn't have drills but instead has maintenance duty around the base.
