"Report of the Board appointed for examination of the invalids" of the army. Approximately 75 men listed by name, age, regiment, time of service and ailment. "Disease" column includes such ailments as dysentery, venereal disease, and lunacy. Thomas Smith's disease is cited as being "an useless Negro." "Cato Duce" is another African-American soldier on the roster.
