Reports that some of the soldiers of the company are ill but not dangerously. Describes his uniform equipment, and food at camp. Writes that a prisoner, a lieutenant of Brig. General James McBride was brought in. Prisoners are often brought in and discharged under oath. Asks that his parents send him a newspaper occasionally.
