Concerns the cession and removal from the Appalachicola Indians' Florida land and the remuneration they will receive. Authorized by President Andrew Jackson. Treaty arranged by James Gadsen, Commissioner on the part of the United States, and John Blunt with the Appalachicola leaders on 11 October 1831 (and ratified on 13 February 1833).
