One wirephoto entitled, "Hurt in Los Angeles Riots," taken by the Associated Press dated August 15, 1965. Image is of two fire fighters holding up a Black man in front of a store. Wire transfer information states the man was in a burning store before the fire department arrived. A can of paint exploding caused the fire. Also states that the National Guard had been deployed to "help police control arson and looting."
