On the November 4, 2021, Inside the Vault, our curators are joined by Dr. Barbara Perry, the Gerald L. Baliles Professor and director of Presidential Studies at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center, and Gilder Lehrman Master Teacher Jermain Corbin, history educator at the Condon K-8 School in South Boston, to discuss three documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy: the ticker tape reporting the assassination from November 22, 1963, President Lyndon Johnson’s proclamation of a national day of mourning, and the speech Kennedy was never able to deliver.
