Dear Sam:
I came here a week ago today. Don't know how long I shall stay - maybe two weeks longer. I want to be well when I leave the hospital. Hope to get out in time to go to Warrenton as I did 4 years ago & vote for Taft & against the Bull Moose. Of course, Wilson will be elected & I am glad to see that in a late letter he comes out in favor of putting all officers in the clarified service, wh. makes you safe. How will Josie vote?

Yours Truly
