Arrest warrant signed by Faulkner, a justice of the peace for Halifax County. George Carrington, having supplied information under oath that Samuel, one of his slaves, "ploted & conspired the murder" of Carrington and others persons, Faulkner orders the sheriff to bring Samuel before a justice of the peace "to answer the Premises and further to be dealt with according to Law." A docket lists several personal names.
