Summary of Content: One letter dated Seoul, September 11, 1951, addressed to his wife; mentions his promotion to rank of Major of the 502nd, affirms that this will give them financial security "for the next 12 or 15 years without having to sweat out another jump." Also writes of his requested appearance before a court in Japan regarding a case of a soldier who he tried to kick out for excessive drinking.
