Enlisting for twelve months, from 1781 to 1782, in the Artillery company of Captain William Van Deursen, guarding New Haven. States the enlistment will be invalid if they are not paid "equal to Hard Money." Each man enlisting signed his own name. Docket reads "The article of Inlistment at the fort."
