Writes from the Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia to his sister, mentioning that he has not heard from his friend Charlie Blackman for over six months. Comments, "the war will end 'sooner or later.' " Tells her that he has received his New York Ledgers. Written on blue stationery with image of a building at the top.
Robert Terry enlisted on 4 June 1861 as a Private. He was mustered into "K" Co. PA 36th Infantry. He was discharged on 27 April 1865.
