Dear All,
Have been too busy that last few days to write a line tho' I have been intending each day. Am on duty on Brigade Staff as Act. Adjt. Genl. & live in a house & have no picket or fatigue duty to perform. Am one of the fortunate ones this time. AA Genl is the most important staff position & I felt quite complimented that I should have been enlisted. I recd my pay this A.M. and have given the chaplain $600. to be forwarded by Adams Exp. to Geo. D Coit New Haven. Did not pay exp. charges. Must close. Best love to all.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
