At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. Captain Jesse E. George. Lists bounties and army pay. Printed at the Tri-Weekly Publisher Office, Haverhill. The recruiting office is written in pencil (and partially overwritten in crayon for legibility) "A. C. Clemonts Store, Plaistow, N. H."
