Two sketches each mounted on one side of a page. The sketches were done by Henry Berckhoff and dated 1861-1862. Ink frames were drawn around each image, and a caption title was added. Private Berchoff served with Company B, 8th New York regiment "First German Rifles". The two sketches are entitled Battle on Manassas plains 2nd Bull Run 29 August 1862, and Battle of Cross Keyes 8 June 1862.
