Two sketches each mounted on one side of a page. The sketches were done by Henry Berckhoff and dated 1861. Ink frames were drawn around each image, and a caption title was added. Private Berchoff served with Company B, 8th New York regiment "First German Rifles". The two sketches are entitled Camp at Roache's Mill August 1861, and Gen Blenker at the close of the battle of Bull Run 21 July 1861.
