Partially printed document noting the receipt of "Letter No 3848" at the Assistant Adjutant General's office. In a collection with a letter by James Longstreet to John G. Walker, who was a Confederate Major General with a command in the Trans-Mississippi theatre during the Civil War. Attached to a sheet of paper.
