Creator unknown. Title added later in red pen. Date and location of writing in the hand of Henry Knox; same hand also apparently provides edits on page 14. Declares that Mrs. Beaumez, mother of Francis, Thomas and Harriet Flucker and widow of Captain Thomas Flucker, is claiming a portion of the Waldo Patent lands on behalf of her children, who are descendents of Samuel Waldo through their father. Document outlines how the lands were passed down to Henry Knox and another sister in law, Hannah Urquhart [Harwood]. Discusses whether or not the children are entitled to a claim on the lands, whether Knox has the authority to provide them with a claim, and how much land they should be allotted. Also comments on what might happen to the land if it is allotted to minors, such as the children.
