With a 12 page subscribers' list which includes George Washington, Lafayette, Franklin (6 copies), Thomas Paine, Louis XVI, many other prominent figures. This work was later enlarged in 1807 to "The Columbiad," a lengthy epic poem on America. With a flattering dedication to Louis XVI. 1 black and white bust engraving of Joel Barlow included.
