More than 70,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World to soldiers’ letters from World War II and Vietnam. A clipping with a photograph of E. Geraldine Williams. The caption states that she is a biology instructor at Florida A&M University since 1955 and received a Southern Fellowship Fund to attend the University of California at Los Angeles. It also notes she received a B.S. and M.S. from Howard University.
