As part of our Black Lives in the Founding Era teacher seminar, guest speakers added their voices to the writings of a wide array of African Americans. These rare and long-forgotten texts written by both prominent and lesser-known individuals were brought to life through this project, and help underscore the contributions and collective experience of African Americans in the founding era.
