Title: Corona College, Corinth.
A print of a photograph of the main building of the former Corona College in Corinth, MS. The building is three stories and made of brick. A horse-drawn ambulance is parked at the entrance. Note that the columns are also made of brick. Corona College was founded in 1857 as a female seminary. After the Battle of Shiloh in 1862, the Union Army commandeered the college to use as a hospital. The Army left the area in 1864 and burned the building to the ground, the college never re-opened.
