Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Fuller signed, "Most Respectfully, Henry H. Fuller, MD." Vignette bust portrait with mustache, in civilian clothes.

Fuller was assigned to the 10th Heavy Artillery Regiment New York on 30 November 1862 and was relieved 16 April 1863. He was not commissioned. Fuller signed his name on this photograph as Henry H. Fuller but is listed in register as Henry M. Fuller.
