Addressed to "Dad+Bee." No news, but did think of a present suggestion for Don. He needs a new wallet as his is very worn. He would've gotten him one, but he already purchased a gift for Don. Hopes they've recieved his letters with his change of address and asks after his father's health. He hopes his father's blood pressure troubles "are a thing of the past."
The letter is dated "Friday Nite." "Letters in a Box," notes the letter was sent on April 21, 1944.
Robert "Bob" Stone was a Bombardier in World War II and served in the Pacific Front. These letters, were compiled by Bob's wife, Sheila M. Stone, and Ali Adair into a book named Letters in a Box. This book details Bob's service to his country, and his life after the war. Bob's letters were donated to the collection by his wife, Sheila M. Stone, in 2017. It contains a variety of letters, postcards, patches, pins, photographs, and scrapbooks that relate to Bob's training and combat missions.

Friday Nite
Dear Dad & Bee -
I haven't anything in the way of news but I just thought of something for you to give Don for his birthday. I remember that he was looking for a good wallet when we were in Chicago. He has one but it's fairly well worn out. This is just a thought and I know you wanted a suggestion for Don's birthday. I'd have gotten him a wallet when I heard him mention it except that I'd already gotten him something.
Spent the evening with Ronnie and Doug last night. I really envy Ronnie who is flying East tomorrow night. I'd love to be making the trip with her even

though I was just home.
I haven't heard from you since I got back and I'm wondering if you've received my various letters with the changes of address.
How goes all with you, Dad? I hope your blood pressure troubles are a thing of the past and you're back on the job again.
Write soon.
Love -
Bobby
