Jones, David (1748-1822)
Autograph letter signed
Title: to Aaron Hobart
Discusses legal matters pertaining to a land dispute. States that if Hobart sends the money along with the Quit Claim Deed, then Gammon would sign and leave it to him "to be conveyed to [Hobart]." Also mentions that if Elihu wants to purchase their shares, he must send $70 and the deed will be sent to French & Everetts, where Elihu can pick it up. Declines giving advice on a certain case, claiming that the "Physicians who are near you... must be better Judges...than I am."
