Lincoln writes to Judge Advocate General Holt concerning army contractor Daniel Wormer, who was paid but failed to deliver 1200 horses to the army. Lincoln asks Holt to get the record and report on it to him. Written on Executive Mansion stationary. Accompanied by a war-date carte de visite photograph of Lincoln (GLC0167.02).
