I intended with Mr. Rosman the Pleasure of spending a little Time with you at West Point - Mr. Apthorp, Mr. Baeke & the other Gentlemen on Board proposed to themselves the Honor of passing their Respects to you - But the favorable Breeze & the late Hour of the Evening have induced us to alter our Plan & defer our visit until We return from Albany to which Place We are now bound. -
