Writes that enclosed is a release signed by Thomas Compson (not present). Adds that Mr. [Samuel] Ogden did not receive Knox's last letter till Monday, and upon receiving it, rushed to process the paperwork and send it to Knox so that it might arrive in time to be part of the mail packet being shipped that evening.
