Marked as an extract from a letter to Bingham. Discusses the merits of a sale to a Mr. [possibly Alexander] Baring, alleging that it may not furnish the funds they need. Is concerned about potentially having to sell his estate in the Waldo patent, just as it is beginning to turn profitable. Contains some financial accounting.
