Unsigned, but handwriting suggests the author is Henry Knox. No addressee is listed, but likely is Bradshaw Hall, register of deeds for Castine, Maine (see GLC02437.07992 for Hall's response to this letter). Encloses deeds and powers of attorney respecting the lands of the Ten Proprietors (not present). Would like Reed to record them and send them back to him by the next post. Also asks him to certify on a separate sheet that they have been recorded. Provides information on several of the proprietors and outlines what else he would like Reed to do with the documents.
