Document is not signed but appears to be in Henry Knox's handwriting. Instructions regarding a proposition to the settlers in Frankfort, Maine for purchasing land and supplying the settlers with warrantee deeds. States if any settlers reject their [likely Henry Knox, Samuel Winslow, Isaac Winslow who are the heirs and representatives of the late Brigadier General Samuel Waldo] proposition they will not be obligated to offer the deal again at a later date. It is unclear whether the Isaac Winslow of this document is the younger Isaac (1763-1806), who is Samuel's brother, or their elder cousin (1743-ca. 1792/3)."
