Discusses proprietors and states that "it must be defered as soon as possible in order to give time to obtain an aqcuitable [sic] decision or compromise with the state." Peirce served during the American Revolutionary War in Colonel Pierse Long's regiment iand was a Federalist Representative from New Hampshire, serving from 1801-1802.
