Dear Sam:
You & Dolly Richards must take charge of Beck & his picture. I have been suffering a good deal. This winter with my bladder trouble but am much better now & have concluded to go down to Norfolk & spend some time in St. Vincent's Hospital. Think the climate & salt air will do a great deal towards restoring me. So on Sunday evening, March 12th I shall take the Norfolk boat & will be down there the next morning. I hope to have a pleasant time with the sisters of the hospital. It is said to be a nice place & I expect to go on some excursions around the country. I have a few acquaintances there. I have written three times to Willie since I recd. word announcing his marriage, but no answer. Has he left the Japanese S. S. Co? I have hoped they wd. employ him in San Francisco.

Yours Truly
J.S. Mosby
