Summary of Content: Daguerreotype showing George Lucas Hartsuff in regular US Army uniform as second artillery officer. Sothebys suggested it was probably taken shortly before he returned to West Point as an instructor in 1856. Case (not original): 12.75 x 10.3 x 2.4 cm.
