Details given: Valuable view of Batteries Williams and Robinette, at Corinth, Miss. Railroad shown is Memphis & Charleston: camera faces west toward Memphis with Corinth behind the camera position to the east. Battery Williams appears on the south side of the RR [left], distinguishable by its flagstaff. Battery Robinette is at the extreme right, facing north. The line of works running to the railroad was built after the battle. The 2nd Texas Regiment led by Col. Rogers [killed in the attack], crossed the road which appears in front of Robinette. The battery at that time was a mere outwork not enclosed as it appears in this view. Stamp of the Century Co. Crop marks on the recto of the mount. A camp with various styles of tents and a supply of wheels for railroad cars are also visible.
