Hopes that Hobart can supply him with "The N. Intelligence" that he used to recieve from another Congressman, and discussed political races.
After wishing you a safe arrival at Washington & comfortable quarters, I wish, owing to what I sid to you some time since, to remind you that the source by which myself, all the [] Mr Willis & Col. Thomas were supplied [with] all the N. Intelligence in your post is cut off, by Mr. E. [Whitneon's] leaving Congres. We now take [nine] papers among us, & only want the N. Intelligene to inform us how all the world goes on. By sending the same to either of us you virtually accomodate the the [rec &]. I know my neighbours have not verry strong [] on your attention. Still you must not forget that the precept "do good to your enemies" & furthermore if I [can judge] of the thoughts by the words & deeds then one & all wished you elected at the last [pull], & evinced much satisfaction at the result & if you are sure of the station [till] the present race [feds] can [all] [] on one more [] may make your mind up to [to W] till the present [] all gathered to their [].
Let me hear from you [] as I want to know how things are at Headquarters in reference to [] & President.
