Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Written on Saturday at the office. Sylvia is working on Saturday morning will give her a two and a half day holiday. Has no plans except maybe to see a movie with the girls. Her Dad sent her a check, knows it was her Mom's idea. Thinks she and her sister Mad don't live up to her mother's expectations of them.
