Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Moe inquires after Sylvia's health. He is very worried that she might be straining herself. Moe tells Sylvia she must be more careful. He mentions that he heard from Mad and Joe. He also admonishes people who spend lots of money on diamonds and says the money would be better spent on bonds.
