Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Moe got a good haircut. He writes that the next town is one of the ones Sylvia guessed. He instructs her to find someone to stay with her if she feels too lonely. He also comments that she will have a collection of bracelets by the time this is all over.
