Our Collection

At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Moe received a letter from Esme, the girl from the family in England that hosted him and Jack. He refers to a Sid they know who is devoted to the black market. Moe is pleased that her mother has taken responsibility for making sure her father is as comfortable as possible.
