One letter from Jo Gassert to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated December 13, 1943. Jo writes that she hadn't written to Leonard before now as she was on bed rest from pneumonia. She updates him on a few friends; St. Clair is engaged; Bobby Nye is back home with "wings and bars"; Chuck Pollack will be arriving home soon. She also mentions that she may be engaged soon to the "cute sailor boy" she told him about when Leonard was home.
