One letter from Dottie Erickson to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated December 30, 1943 Dottie mentions how glad she was to hear that Leonard got home for Christmas. She reports that she had an old fashioned Christmas at her grandfather's farm. She is moving to Middletown soon and is not looking forward to having an earlier commute. She inquires how much longer Leonard will be in service school, and offers to send him a care package of anything he likes.
