One letter from Malinda Bayler to Leonard Eugene Graeff dated January 6, 1944. Malinda updates Leonard on his mother, Susan's condition. The doctor visited in the morning and has noticed an improvement. She still has some congestion and a low temperature. The doctor stated that when she is well enough he can give a treatment for the congestion at his office. Raymond called Malinda to update her. Malinda apologizes as Leonard will likely get two letters from her on the same day as she was unable to mail the last one she wrote earlier.(GLC09611.205) She has been staying at home as she is starting to feel sick.
